So the book as described on the back is quite poetic and lyrical. I felt that story line jumped around with the time line and from character prespective a bit abruptly. However I appreciate the fact the the author brought a well rounded development of Dona Marina aka Malinche aka Malinalli. Give it a read if you are into Mexico's history and are fascinated in the position translators have in history.
