Engrossing story, accessible philosophy. Exciting, scary, dramatic. Happy ending. I'd never read the book, and I'm catching up with a lot of these classics by listening as I drive about.

Different with every read. I loved this book as a child and still find it appealing as an adult.

I have enjoyed lots of Y.A. books but perhaps this one is too young for me?

Meg's father, a physicist for the government, has disappeared. Meg, her brother Charles Wallace and friend Calvin must find him with the help of Mrs. Whazzit, Mrs. Who and Mrs. Which. Published in the early 60's, this book may seem somewhat dated to today's Harry Potter fans, but it's still an enjoyable read.
