I really enjoyed this book and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an in-depth look at the Phantom character.

While the characterization of Christine is questionable, "Phantom" gives Erik an astounding amount of dimensionality and makes his role as a tragic villain so much more poignant. At 400+ pages it isn't a quick read but it is worth it for the heartbreaking first person perspective that is sure to bring tears to your eyes.
