The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes contains more amazing stories of the prodigious detective, culminating in the most incredible tale yet. With more of the stories you love about the World’s Greatest Detective and his faithful chronicler Watson.

In these stories, we meet Sherlock’s older brother, Mycroft Holmes, a man that’s even smarter than Sherlock but who lacks the energy to do much. Besides Mycroft, we are introduced to many new people with fascinating mysteries in this series of tales. But the most important man we meet is the mysterious Dr. Moriarty.

Moriarty is the greatest enemy that has ever come up against Sherlock Holmes. In the final story of this book, you will witness a titanic struggle of wills as Holmes attempts to disband and arrest an enormous undercover criminal organization, of which Moriarty is at the head.

In this book, delve even more deeply into the mind of Sherlock Holmes and John Watson. Their friendship is all the sweeter within their run from a dangerous man. Ending with what was supposed to be a grand finale for Sherlock Holmes, this book only whets our appetite for more of this amazing detective, and no doubt eventually made Doyle write even more about Holmes.

If you’re a fan of Sherlock Holmes, these stories are a wonderful, necessary collection to add to your bookshelves. You won’t regret picking up this book.

The second collection of Holmes short stories, and it is just as good as the first. The Adventure of the Yellow Face is so sweet and touching it will bring tears to your eyes. Introduces Moriarty, the perfect archnemesis to Holmes.

Reading the stories again after many years. Still very enjoyable and even more so as I was also reading at the same time The Scientific Sherlock Holmes by James O'Brien, a scholarly explanation and examination of Sherlock's methods.

*Spoiler Alert*
Sherlock Holmes. What else to say? Well, an interesting collection with a sad ending. However, Doyle couldn't leave Holmes in his grave because of the response from readers. So, there are more Sherlock Holmes stories out there for you who were disappointed.

Other: Eerrr...is this a book or a radio drama? The Title info at top says it's a book. The Full Record says it's an over 200pg book. The review says it is the BBC radio drama w/Clive Merrison.
