Different kind of plot but a bit of a stretch. Nice to see Dennis Mira have a role in this book Bit graphic plot and Eve's nightmares seem more intense

I’m a Nora Roberts Fan & have been for a long time ... her In Death books under J D Robb are just more examples of how talented a writer she is whether romance or criminal mysteries ... AWESOME BOOK !! I’m in luv with Rourke & Mr Mira…

This is the 42nd book in the In Death Series. I have read everyone of the books and love this series. This story broke my heart for Eve because the bad memories from her childhood were brought back. Dennis and Charlotte have a big part in…

As always, well written but just another case. It was interesting (in a vile kindof way) but just another in the series.

Love how each book is done differently giving us new twist and turns when we think we've got it and find out we're totally wrong or maybe we were right all along you never know where she'll take you and brotherhood in death took us down a…

I have read at least half the books in the "In Death" series, and this definitely was the poorest by far. It seems that Robb (Roberts) mailed this one in, or could it have been ghost written ? Maybe the rush and pressure of coming up…

Her books seem to be getting grittier and grittier and I've yet to decide if that's a good thing. The usual gang is all here with the lovely addition of Dennis Mira (who shows up all too seldom, normally) - like Eve, I am partially in…

This book covers the very tough topic of rape and how it effects people many years later. It brings back Eve's childhood and how it makes her the person she is today. The book brings in Dennis Mira who up until now, has really been in…

Picked this up from the new book section to fill in idle time. Agree with 7626dee and scifiandscary. Like to add that too much ink on salacious matters for the women detectives (Eve first appeared 20 years ago in Nora's 'Naked in Death…

I have been reading this series from the beginning and I'm always amazed at what Nora Roberts can come up with and have enjoyed every story. I've enjoyed and will continue to enjoy the twists that Nora comes up with for Eve, Roarke and…

Unfortunately, Brotherhood in Death fizzled. I was really looking forward to this book, as the In Death series is pretty much the only series that I religiously follow, and I absolutely adore Dennis Mira. However...it was just kind…

42 books into this series and Eve is still having nightmares. JD needs to get this hardboiled policewoman sorted out and really she is afraid of flying when her police car can fly, no way.

This books spotlights one of my favourite characters Dennis Mira. When he walks into the middle of the kidnapping of his cousin, he realizes some very hard realities about his cousin and his friends. The rest of the story is the …
